An Unsung Painter
These snap shots are of land scape paintings painted by a school teacher of a for off area of Shingri village, district Haripur, province Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan.
Our painter naming Mr Shamsher is Senior drawing teacher in Government run public school. He is also an acting Incharge of the Govt. Middle School Shingrhi. He is also having problems because one of his legs is not in order and he is brought in and brought back to school on motorcycle by his son.
When I inquired him about his painting (which were displayed in school office and classrooms) he said that "When I joined this school a single classrooms had a single chart or demonstration about syllabus like most schools of this area. In this situation a bought paint and hardboard costing about 500 pkr about 5$ and started painting to decorate my school."
Some of the his paintings are landscapes among the educational charts which I had captured with my cell's camera and are given below for you to watch and appreciate.
